Course Description
This course provides the student the mathematical skills and necessary background for technical, scientific or business careers. It also gives the required foundations to successfully study calculus, for which it is a pre-requisite. Included topics for the two semester course, among others are the following: trigonometric functions, radian and degree units of measuring angles, analytic trigonometry, graphs of trigonometric functions, linear systems and matrices, sequences, series, the binomial theorem, counting principle, probability, analytic geometry in 2D and 3D, vectors in space, limits and an introduction to calculus.
