Course Description
Course Objective: Students will become familiar with Physical Fitness, The Human Anatomy (Bones and Muscles), Individual and Team sports.
Course Description: Introduction to Physical Education games and activities with an emphasis on Fitness and Conditioning. This is not a required course it is an elective course and may only be taken once during the Freshmen Year.
Course Outline: Various Individual and Team sports may include: Badminton, Speedminton, Basketball, Flag Football, Challenge games and activities, Table Tennis, Soccer, Pickle ball, Speedball, Borden Ball, Rag-ball, and Leadership Exercise. Pre and Post Fitness Tests will also be administered for Physical Fitness measurement (Growth and Development).
Assessments: Students are assessed with a Pre-Fitness test at the beginning of the semester and a Post Fitness test at the end of the semester. The students will also be assessed on the Bones and Muscles in the human body. A Pre-Test, A Mid-term (half way through the semester) and a Post test will be administered. In Addition the students will be assessed daily using Rubric Based Standards. These Standards are, Attention, Following Instructions, Cooperation (Attendance and Dressing out for P.E.), Motivation (Participating in class activities), and Independency (Staying on task).

Course Description
Strength and Conditioning is a performance based class focusing on scientific principles, concepts, and theories of strength training and conditioning as well as their applications to overall fitness as well as athletic performance. This course will cover all areas needed for you to live a healthy and active lifestyle including weight training. By the end of this course, each student will be able to set a personal goal and create a 6 week workout plan to meet or exceed their desired fitness level.
